From AngelParkSpeedway.com:
We have 18 Badger Midgets on hand.

Davey Ray is returning to competition in the Mecum #33 and Dakoda Armstrong makes his first visit of the year tonight.

Brad Loyet (Fort Worth Tx), Jerry Coons Jr. (Lawrenceburg IN) and Dakoda Armstrong (Morris IL) all won features last night and have joined us this evening.

82 Eric Johnson 15.296

05 Brad Loyet 15.312

(Assuming Smith, Slotten, and Loyet had problems.  Our fastest time EVER - including even when I drove other cars.  Tried different throttle method...wonder if we would have been in the 14s if I would have flat-footed it though? - JD)

Badger Heat 3

------------------------------------------------

Start/ Finish Car# Driver

------------------------------------------------

6 1 5c Jerry Coons Jr

5 2 1 Mike Hess

1 3 19 Jake Slotten

2 4 56 Jason Dull

3 5 5w Bryon Walters

4 6 15 Scott Hatton

------------------------------------------------

(Had a decent start coming out of four, but may have gone too high and gave Harley too much room going down front straight.  Opened the door for everyone else to get underneath going into one.  Looked like Hatton and Coos got together coming out of two after a lap or two.  I was back far enough to slide around the sideways 15 car.)

Lap 3 RED for Bryon Walters who broke a rear axle and flipped...Bryon climbed out of the car under his own power.  (Was working on getting back around "Flying" Bryon and was on the low side when he piled up in two.  Glad I missed that too! - JD)

Badger Qualifier

Start/ Finish Car# Driver

------------------------------------------------

2 1 15 Scott Hatton

1 2 21s Bob Shreffler

3 3 7a Dakoda Armstrong

4 4 56 Jason Dull

(Did battle with Dakoda some at start, but in the end, looked like he and Schreffler were trying to wreck for 2nd in race that didn't matter.  I wasn't close enough to take advantage. - JD)

------------------------------------------------

Badger B-Main

------------------------------------------------

Start/ Finish Car# Driver

-------------------------------------------------

1 1 7a Dakoda Armstrong

2 2 21k Kurt Mayhew

6 3 7x Aaron Fiscus

3 4 21s Bob Shreffler

5 5 56 Jason Dull

6 6 82 Eric Johnson

-------------------------------------------------

Aaron Fiscus had to switch to his backup car

Brad Loyet broke a rear end; Brad and crew are working to install a spare obtained from Kurt Mayhew

(Almost repeat of Qualifier, ran behind Shreffler, who was in "race of their life" with Fiscus...I guess it was for their "time back" though in this case.  I should have been involved! - JD)

Lap 6 YELLOW for a stopped Bubba Altig  (JUST had a rhythm going and seemed like Eric was leaving enough room for me to go around the top - after I battled under him early to no avail.  Aaron wasn't too far ahead either.  I just failed to find a way around right away when the green came back out.  The #82 was REAL wide!  Eventually got around, but he passed me back when the leaders started lapping us. - JD)

Ray, Coons, Waelti

Lap 18 YELLOW for Kuhn in turn 4  (Brad's steering broke right when he was trying to lap me through 4.  I saw out of the corner of my eye, that his #17 veered sharply into the outer wall.  He hit head on right before the entrance/exit. -JD)

Coons, Ray, Waelti

Lap 24 RED for Waelti who flips in turn 2

Brandon is out of the car under his own power

Coons, Ray, Hatton, Armstrong, Hess

(Other than to Jerry, we really were not THAT slow all night...I just wasn't fast enough.  Early in night, the RR seemed bouncy again.  I changed the shock before the feature.  Ruined my race getting stuck behind Eric early and then getting lapped.  Gave me no chance to battle Shreffler and Mayhew.  We should have run at least 7th or 8th!  Very disappointed in another despicable run.  "Top ten" is nice and paid ok, but reality is it did not mean much.  Should have gained some points on the #25 car, but might not matter anyway, as Jerry is coming! - JD).
